Curing Agent for Advanced Composites!

Prepregs make it easier to manufacture composite parts, as there is no need to mix and apply the matrix material separately. They are commonly used in the aerospace, automotive and sporting goods industries due to their high strength-to-weight ratio and ability to be formed into complex shapes.

4,4′-DDS or 4,4′-diaminodiphenylsulfone (CAS 80-08-0) can be used as a hardener in advanced composite materials (structural materials) made of carbon or glass fibres. The 4,4′-DDS offered by ProChema is a powder that is available in two different fineness of grinding.
