ProChema Launches Two New Products: Bio Based BDO and Bio Based PTMEG

We are excited to announce the latest additions to our product portfolio: Bio-Based Butanediol (Bio-Based BDO) and Bio-Based Poly(tetramethylene ether) glycol (Bio-Based PTMEG).

BDO is a versatile compound integral to the production of spandex, polyurethanes, thermoplastic polyurethanes, co-polyesters, and elastane.

PTMEG is a key ingredient in the manufacturing of polyurethanes, adhesives, and liquid coatings. Known for its low temperature elasticity retain and resilience to abrasion and hydrolysis, PTMEG is indispensable across a variety of industries.

Our bio-based BDO and PTMEG are derived from renewable resources through an advanced bio-fermentation process. This method ensures a material that is 100% bio-based and that significantly reduces the carbon footprint compared to conventional, fossil fuel-derived BDO and PTMEG.
