Bisphenol A-bis(diphenyl phosphate) (BDP)
DESCRIPTION
BDP is a liquid halogen-free aromatic oligomeric phosphate ester flame retardant and processing aid.
Outstanding application properties of BDP are:
-low volatility
-good heat resistance
Therefore resistant to high processing temperature used for engineering plastics.
-good hydrolytic stability enables usage under highly humid conditions
-plasticizing effect improves flow properties

MAJOR APPLICATIONS
Compounds, master batches and plastics parts (plastics converters) from:
a) Engineering plastics such as PC and alloys (like PC/ABS)
b) PPO and alloys (like PPO/HIPS)
The plastic parts manufactured from a) and b) are those with higher technical performance used in the fields of automotive, electrical/electronics, machine building, construction, etc. To enhance their properties they can be reinforced by fibers and fillers.
