Ethyl Methacrylate (EMA)
DESCRIPTION
EMA is a clear, colorless and flammable liquid with a strong ester like odor. Slightly soluble in water and miscible with most organic solvents. EMA is used in the manufacture of homopolymers and copolymers. It can be copolymerized with acrylic acid and its salts, esters, acrylamide, methacrylic acid, methacrylates, acrylonitrile, maleic acid esters, vinyl acetate, vinyl chloride, styrene, butadiene and unsaturated polyesters. EMA has excellent polymerization characteristics, low viscosity and high reactivity. EMA is stable, non-corrosive and resistant to most chemicals making it the ideal choice for various industrial applications
