Hexamethylene diisocyanate (HDI)
DESCRIPTION
HDI is an aliphatic isocyanate used in coatings when resistance to abrasion or UV light degradation is required. These properties are particularly desirable in coatings for exteriors. HDI is also used in the form of trimers or biuret that have less volatility and toxicity.
